Breakfast or Snack Through a Straw – Mocha Latte & Horchata Smoothies

Mocha Latte Smoothie
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons instant coffee – mocha flavored (or use your favorite flavor)
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup – I like using the dark chocolate syrup!
1 cup ice

Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth.

Horchata Smoothie
6 oz. Kozy Shack Rice Pudding
4 oz. milk
2 oz evaporated milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon (though you may want to add more)
Ice – add ice if you would like more of a smoothie type texture.

Blend until combined. Drink chilled.
You can also use greek yogurt instead of rice pudding, or in addition to everything else, since it has so much protein it is great… plus it’s very smooth. If you aren’t familiar with horchata, it is a drink commonly served in Spain or Mexico made from raw rice, almonds, or tiger nuts. It’s creamy and refreshing, especially when it’s so hot outside.
